About our privacy policy
Dr. Worker cares deeply about your privacy. We therefore process only the data we need to provide and improve our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided through it by Dr. Worker. These terms take effect on 26/05/2022; upon publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. This privacy policy describes which data about you we collect, what these data are used for, and with whom and under what conditions these data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing
Below, you can read how we process your data, where we store or arrange for it to be stored, which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.


Online store software

Wix
Our online store was developed using software from Wix. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Wix has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Under the agreement we have concluded with them, Wix is required to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Wix is a certified processor of credit card data. Wix uses cookies to collect technical information relating to your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Wix reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies in order to further improve its services. Wix observes the applicable statutory retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies; your data may be processed in the United States.


Email and mailing lists

MailChimp
We send our email newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies to provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share information with third parties.

Gmail
We use Gmail for our regular business email communications. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email correspondence confidentially.



Payment processors
Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address, city, and payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share anonymized data with third parties. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which it engages third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than permitted under statutory retention periods.


Reviews

Qualiview
EXAMPLE: We collect reviews through the Qualiview platform. If you leave a review through Qualiview, you are required to provide your name, city and email address. Qualiview shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. Qualiview also publishes your name and city on its own website. In some cases, Qualiview may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with Qualiview. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. Qualiview has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Qualiview reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing its services; we have given Qualiview permission to do so. All the safeguards mentioned above relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which Qualiview engages third parties.



Shipping and logistics

PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and city with PostNL. PostNL uses this data only for the purpose of performing the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.



Invoicing and accounting
Twinfield
For maintaining our records and accounts, we use the services of Twinfield. We share your name, address, city and details relating to your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Twinfield is required to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Twinfield does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.


External sales channels
The physiotherapy practice
We sell some of our products through the Fydee Vitae platform. If you place an order through this platform, Fydee Vitae shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it against loss and unauthorized use.



Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the provision of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use it to contact you at a later time for any reason other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent to do so. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.



Automatically collected data
Data collected automatically by our website are processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Dr. Worker may be legally required to share your data in connection with a government tax or criminal investigation. In such a case, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent permitted by law.



Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will also interpret it as a request to be forgotten. Under applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your personal data; we will therefore retain these data for as long as the applicable retention period lasts. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or to documents we prepared in connection with your assignment.



Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, as a data subject you have certain rights concerning the personal data processed by or on our behalf. You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relates to you or can be traced back to you amended. You may submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address we have on file stating that the data has been amended.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address we have on file stating that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.



Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we process or have processed, which relates to you personally or can be traced back to you, transferred to another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies or duplicates of all data about you that we have processed, or that other processors or third parties have processed on our behalf, to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing our services in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Dr Worker. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies and/or duplicates of the data that we process or have processed and then permanently stop processing it. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that makes this right applicable. Cookies
Google Analytics
Our website places cookies from the American company Google as part of its “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required under applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We have not permitted Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.

If third-party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy statement.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy at any time. However, this page will always contain the most recent version. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
